Classic Scalloped Potatoes

Layer the Casserole: Arrange half of the sliced potatoes in the prepared baking dish, overlapping slightly. Sprinkle half of the seasoning mixture over the potatoes. Pour half of the heated cream over the potatoes, distributing it evenly, and then sprinkle half of the shredded Cheddar cheese over the cream. Repeat the layering process with the remaining potatoes, seasoning, cream, and cheese.
Bake: If desired, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden and bubbly.
Cool & Serve: Let the scalloped potatoes cool for a few minutes before serving.
