Method
1. Mix: Combine warm milk, yeast, and 1 Tbsp sugar. Let foam. Add egg, flour, salt, butter, and rest of sugar. Knead until smooth.
2. Rise: Cover and let dough double (1 hr).
3. Shape: Roll out, cut strips, twist, and pinch ends.
4. Rise Again: Let rest until puffy (30–40 mins).
5. Fry: Heat oil to 350°F, fry twists 1–2 mins per side until golden. Drain.
6. Coat: Roll warm donuts in cinnamon sugar.
