Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the Brownies:
Bake the brownie mix according to package instructions until just set. Cool thoroughly on a rack before handling This prevents crumbling and helps with shaping
Make the Cookie Dough:
Cream the softened butter with brown and granulated sugars using a mixer until the mixture looks fluffy and light. Mix in the milk and vanilla until blended. Gradually add flour and mix until you have a soft dough. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips
Shape the Cookie Dough:
Using clean hands scoop about one tablespoon of dough per ball. Roll into even balls and set aside on a plate. Chill these briefly for easier assembly
Assemble the Brownie Bombs:
Slice the cooled brownies into squares just big enough to wrap around the dough balls. Place a dough ball in the center of a brownie square then gently press and fold the brownie around it Pinch to seal. Repeat with all dough balls
Coat in Chocolate:
Melt the candy melts per the package directions until smooth and liquid. Using two forks lower each brownie bomb into the chocolate coating it entirely. Lift out gently then let excess drip off. Place on a parchment-lined tray
Decorate and Set:
If using sprinkles scatter them over the chocolate before it sets Refrigerate each tray until the chocolate is fully firm
