One of the common habits of housewives is to hang kitchen towels on the oven door. Here’s why it’s not a good idea to do so.

Towels should be hung where people wash their hands, not where they bake cakes or other dishes. Hanging them over the oven creates a breeding ground for bacteria.

It’s better to place a hook near the window and hang the towel there – it will dry faster there.
