Ingredients:
For the filling:

1/2 lb (225g) ground pork (or any  meat of your choice)

1 cup chopped napa cabbage (or any leafy green)

1/4 cup chopped mushrooms (shiitake or button mushrooms)

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tsp ginger, grated

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

For the  dough:

2 cups all-purpose  flour

1/2 cup hot water (adjust as needed)

For frying:

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1/2 cup water (for steaming)

Instructions:

Prepare the Dumpling Dough:

In a bowl, add the flour and gradually pour in the hot water, stirring to form a dough. Once cool enough to handle, knead for about 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.

Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Prepare the Filling:

In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped cabbage, mushrooms, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.

Form the Dumplings:

Roll the dough into a log and divide it into small pieces (about 20 pieces). Roll each piece into a ball and flatten it into a small circle (about 3 inches in diameter).
